4 peaches
4 nectarines
1 one-quarter ounce envelope unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
16 ounces strawberry yogurt
1/2 teaspoon almond extract, optional

Slice the peeled peaches and nectarines. Transfer to a food processor and process until smooth. You will have about 3½ cups.

Combine the gelatin and water in a small saucepan and heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until the gelatin dissolves. Reduce the heat to low, add the sugar and remove from the heat.

Stir until the sugar dissolves. Stir the fruit mixture, yogurt and almond extract into gelatin mixture.

Transfer to an ice cream machine and freeze according to the manufacture's instructions.
